~Marline Heath~

Lillian Marline Heath peacefully walked through heaven's gate on May 2nd after a very brief battle with cancer. She was at home in Lake Wildwood, surrounded by her loving family. She was 73.
Marline married Vern Heath in 1959. They moved to Santa Cruz in 1969 where they raised their 2 children, Julie Heath Johnson of Lake Wildwood and Matthew Heath of Santa Barbara. Marline left her career as a dental assistant to raise her family.

Marline loved life! She enjoyed traveling her husband, music, gardening, going to Curves, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a way of profoundly touching all who knew her. She especially cherished all the time spent with her five grandchildren, Britney, Hunter and Hannah Heath and Caitlin and Ava Johnson. Her family was her joy. She had a deep spiritual life which she instilled in both her children and grandchildren. Marline was much loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Vern, her children Julie Heath(Matt) Johnson of Lake Wildwood; son Matthew Heath of Santa Barbara; daughter Melinda (Carl) Wilson of Grants Pass, OR; sister LaVonne Harrison of Napa; brother Roy Gregg of Richmond; grandchildren, Britney, Hunter, Hannah, Caitlin and Ava, two great grandchildren, Peyton and Abbigal and numerous nieces and nephews.

We will Miss You Marline.. even the skies are crying

My Mom walked through Heavens Gate at 11:45 AM, today. She was very peaceful and surrounded by her loving husband and family. I bent over and kissed her forhead as she let out her last breath. Caitlin and Ava, Lorin and Arlene, my husband Matt, and Malinda and her husband Carl were all circled around her as she left her earthly body. I am sure she is at this moment soaring through the Heavens with a huge smile on her beautiful face.......Taking in huge breaths of air without coughing or any more struggle. My Mom was the strongest, most beautiful person I have ever known. I am so hugely blessed to have been able to call her Mom. My girls were hugely blessed to be able to call her "Grammy". We are planning to have a celebration of her beautiful life sometime in the near future. When I have the date I will post it for everyone. Thanks again for all of your generous love and support. You all meant the world to my Mom. I love you Mom, Julie :)
